General Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Services

Background
The Town of Narragansett, Rhode Island, is seeking to award a service contract for general Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) services. The goal of this contract is to ensure that all Town buildings and facilities receive necessary HVAC maintenance, repair, and installation services.

The Town aims to engage a qualified HVAC contractor licensed in the State of Rhode Island to perform these services.

Work Details
The contractor will provide general HVAC service work including new installations, restoration, and repairs at all Town buildings and facilities. Specific tasks include:

- Performing routine scheduled maintenance
- Emergency service and repairs on all major makes and models of HVAC equipment
- Recharging air conditioning units with refrigeration gas
- Installing, repairing, adjusting, and replacing boilers, condensers, chillers, heat exchanges, zone valves, piping, duct work, controls
- Troubleshooting HVAC problems
- Programming and operating computer-based HVAC control systems.

The contractor must also provide a detailed list of HVAC tools available for the work under this contract.

Period of Performance
The initial contract period is one year from the date of award. The Town reserves the right to extend the contract annually upon mutual agreement.

Place of Performance
All work will be performed within the Town of Narragansett at various municipal and school buildings.
