Description

The Department of Labor and Training is seeking a One-Stop Operator who will be the operator of the American Job Centers located in Woonsocket and West Warwick. The One-Stop Operator will staff and coordinate services, referrals, and partners operating in the American Job Centers. The One-Stop Operator will represent the 37 cities and towns that make up the Greater Rhode Island (GRI) area.
Background
The Department of Labor and Training of the State of Rhode Island is seeking a One-Stop Operator for the American Job Centers located in Woonsocket and West Warwick.

The goal of this contract is to effectively staff and coordinate services, referrals, and partnerships within these centers, representing the 37 cities and towns that comprise the Greater Rhode Island area.

Work Details
The One-Stop Operator will be responsible for:
- Staffing the American Job Centers
- Coordinating services and referrals
- Managing partnerships with various organizations
- Ensuring effective operation of the centers
- Representing the interests of the Greater Rhode Island area.

The operator will need to demonstrate experience in workforce development and community engagement.

Period of Performance
The initial contract period will begin approximately on November 1, 2024, for one year, with potential renewals for up to five additional 12-month periods based on vendor performance and availability of funds.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the American Job Centers located in Woonsocket and West Warwick, Rhode Island.
