This solicitation is for evaluation to be performed on an existing above ground 500,000-gallon concrete water tank per specifications for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Corrections, SCI Dallas.Mandatory site visit to be held Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at 10:00 AM.All items will be delivered FOB Destination. The awarded supplier is responsible for any shipping or delivery costs.This is an ELECTRONIC bid only. Registered Vendors may find bid at: https://pasupplierportal.state.pa.us/irj/portal/anonymous.ONLY ELECTRONIC BID RESPONSES WILL BE ACCEPTED. Registered Vendors may find solicitation on the PA Supplier Portal. All bidders are responsible for monitoring eMarketplace to view any change notices to this IFB. Background
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Corrections, is seeking an evaluation of an existing above ground 500,000-gallon concrete water tank located at SCI Dallas. The goal of this contract is to assess the condition of the water tank and provide recommendations for remediation or replacement based on current regulations and standards.

Work Details
The evaluation will include:

1. Disinfection of the existing drained tank.
2. A visual assessment of the tank walls, floor, roof, piping, and attached accessories to identify structural, sanitary, and safety deficiencies.
3. A non-destructive investigation to determine the level of concrete reinforcing bar corrosion using ground penetrating radar or other technology.
4. A detailed report that includes:
- Discussion of findings from the evaluation;
- Recommendations for remediation of any identified deficiencies;
- Budgetary estimate for implementing these recommendations;
- Conceptual suggestions for tank replacement with a budgetary estimate for replacement.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on the effective date after execution and will continue until the expiration date specified in the contract.

Place of Performance
The evaluation will be performed at SCI Dallas, located at 1000 Follies Road, Dallas, PA 18612.
