Description

The Department currently utilizes a vCapture product that is a remote data repair solution which ensures the security of confidentiality of taxpayer information. Its software ensures that no identifying information ever leaves the confines of the Department. Tax documents are scanned onsite by the Department and then fields within scanned documents are separated by the vCapture software into individual image snippets that are transmitted out of context to preserve the confidentiality of the information. The Department must ensure the solution utilized meets the most stringent of security standards.
Background
The Department of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a solution for secure and confidential data capturing. The current system, vCapture, is utilized to ensure the confidentiality of taxpayer information by processing scanned tax documents onsite. The goal is to maintain the highest security standards while handling sensitive data.

Work Details
The contractor will provide a secure and confidential data capturing solution that includes the following:

1. Unit of Secure and Confidential Data Capturing service.

This service must ensure that no identifying information leaves the Department's premises and that all data is processed in a manner that preserves confidentiality.

Period of Performance
The contract will be effective from 10/27/2025, with bids due by 11/03/2025.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the Executive Branch, Rm 508 Main Capitol, Harrisburg, PA 17120.
