Plumstead Township is seeking bids for construction projects related to the Landis Greene development. 2. Application of 7,000 square yards of Bituminous Seal Coat applied complete in-place as per PennDOT PUB 447 MS-0340-0005 utilizing #8 1.0% aggregate and CRS-2P Surface Condition 'D' for areas designated by the Municipality.
3. Application of 9,000 lbs of Rubberized Crack Seal applied complete in-place as per PUB 408, Section 469 utilizing sealant which meets specifications.
4. Application of 4,000 lbs of Asphalt Repair Mastic applied complete in-place as per the attached Mastic One Spec.
The work must comply with Pennsylvania's Prevailing Wage Act and all materials must meet specified quality standards.
Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to commence upon receipt of a Notice to Proceed and must be completed on or before October 15, 2026.
Place of Performance
The work will take place at various locations within Plumstead Township, specifically on Marie Circle, Mia Lane, Sarahs Lane, Gregory Drive, Emily Drive, and Landis Green.
Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be prequalified by PennDOT as contractors and are required to meet with the Director of Public Works prior to submitting a bid. Bids must include a non-collusion affidavit and a certified check or bid bond in the amount of at least ten percent (10%) of the total bid price made payable to Plumstead Township. The successful bidder will also need to provide performance bonds and insurance as specified.
