Background
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is issuing this Invitation for Bids (IFB) to procure lawn care maintenance services for the Pennsylvania State Police, Troop N, located in Lehighton.
The goal of this contract is to ensure the upkeep and maintenance of the lawn area surrounding the Troop N facility, which is essential for maintaining a professional appearance and supporting the agency's mission.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all labor, equipment, and materials necessary for monthly lawn care maintenance at the PA State Police, Troop N location. The services include:
- Mowing: 4 times per month starting in April, with mowing performed once per week on a mutually agreed day. If a week is missed, clippings must be bagged during the next cut.
- Weed Whacking: Trimming around walkways, parking lots, buildings, signs, and impound lots with each mowing.
- Shrubbery Maintenance: Trimming of all shrubs/bushes/trees/landscaping in May, June, and September, including removal of clippings.
- Weed Control: Monthly weed control during the cutting season involving spraying weed killer and pulling weeds from rock beds/landscaping.
- Equipment Provision: The vendor must supply all necessary equipment to perform these services and remove all debris from the premises. Special attention should be given to ensure cut grass does not blow onto police or personal vehicles.
Note that service frequency may be adjusted based on weather conditions as directed by the Station Commander.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon issuance of a valid purchase order and will include four optional one-year renewals.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the Pennsylvania State Police Troop N facility located at 9170 Interchange Road, Lehighton, PA 18235.
