Star-Of-Life Ambulance

Background
The City of Philadelphia, through its Procurement Department, is seeking to award a contract for the supply of Star-of-Life Ambulances to the Department of Fleet Services. This initiative aims to enhance the city's emergency medical services by providing reliable and efficient ambulances. The contract is intended to cover the needs of the city for a specified period, ensuring that the Department of Fleet Services has access to necessary vehicles.

Work Details
The successful vendor will provide various models of Star-of-Life Ambulances as specified under DFS Spec Code 25025MEDICc.25. The specific requirements include:

- Chassis options such as Ford F-550, Ford E-450, Chevy Silverado MD, and International CV515 with various configurations (e.g., 4x2, 4x4).
- Options for ambulance bodies from manufacturers like Horton, Braun, Life Line, Road Rescue, and Wheeled Coach.
- Additional options including EMS glove storage provisions, technician training, and various lighting and compartment enhancements.

Each item must be quoted with pricing not exceeding three decimal places.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and will last for an initial term of twelve (12) months. There is an option for renewal for up to four (4) additional one-year periods at the discretion of the City. Additionally, there may be a three-month extension at the beginning of each renewal period if needed.

Place of Performance
The services and products will be delivered to the City of Philadelphia's Department of Fleet Services located at Land Title Building, Bureau of Quality Assurance Unit, 3rd Floor, 100 South Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19110.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be enrolled in the City's Annual Bid Security Program and pay a non-refundable fee of $100. A Bid Processing Fee of $25 is required for each submitted quote. Bidders must also comply with local business entity certification requirements if applicable. All vendors are required to provide insurance certificates meeting specified criteria before contract execution.
