SMSA - Wastewater Treatment Facility Upgrades (31078.00)

The work requested under this contract involves the construction and upgrade of the Shenandoah Municipal Sewer Authority's Wastewater Treatment Facility. The project consists of two primary contracts: General/Mechanical and Electrical/HVAC. The General/Mechanical contract includes constructing a new headworks building with screening and grit removal systems, a new UV/Blower Building with blowers, a mixing system, and a UV disinfection system, as well as rehabilitating the existing office/control building. Additional work includes the installation of new SBR tanks, digestion tanks, aeration/pumping/disinfection systems, chemical feed systems, utility water systems, and sludge pumps. The upgrade also includes a new outdoor diesel generator and power distribution to both existing and proposed facilities.
