Ridley Creek Road Restoration Project

Background
The Ridley Creek Road Restoration Project is initiated by Upper Providence Township, Delaware County, Pennsylvania. The project aims to restore a 202 linear foot section of Ridley Creek Road that is experiencing deterioration and shearing towards Ridley Creek. The goal is to stabilize this area through various construction activities.

Work Details
The project includes the following items of work:
1. Site Preparation/Material Staging
2. Demolition & Replacement in-kind
3. Erosion Controls & Perimeter Construction Fencing
4. Installation of Traffic Controls
5. Soil Testing
6. Completed Grading Plans sealed by a Professional Engineer with an engineered solution to stabilize the project area
7. Guide Rail Restoration
8. Mobilization
9. Restoration of all disturbed areas.

Period of Performance
The work must be completed within sixty (60) calendar days following receipt of the Owner’s Notice to Proceed.

Place of Performance
Upper Providence Township, Delaware County, Pennsylvania.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must submit a certified check or bid bond equal to at least ten (10) percent of the total bid amount. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates apply to bids greater than or equal to $25,000. Bidders are required to provide performance and maintenance bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract sum upon award.
