Background
The Community College of Philadelphia (CCP) is soliciting proposals for a comprehensive Space Utilization Study across its facilities. The goal of this study is to evaluate the current use of physical spaces, identify opportunities for improved efficiency, and provide recommendations to support future academic programming and capital planning.

Work Details
The selected firm will conduct a comprehensive space utilization analysis that includes:
1. **Data Collection & Inventory**: Update the existing space inventory database aligned with Postsecondary Education Facilities Inventory and Classification Manual (FICM) standards. This includes categorizing current space assignments by function, size, and occupancy.
2. **Utilization Analysis**: Assess classroom and laboratory scheduling and utilization rates; evaluate office and common spaces in relation to staffing levels; benchmark utilization rates against national guidelines.
3. **Stakeholder Engagement**: Conduct interviews, focus groups, and surveys with academic departments and student representatives to gather qualitative input on space challenges.
4. **Findings & Recommendations**: Prepare a presentation summarizing the findings, including underutilized or overutilized spaces, strategies for reallocation, scheduling improvements, and alignment with institutional goals.
Period of Performance
The project is expected to be conducted over a period of 90-120 days from the kickoff meeting to the final presentation and transfer of the updated database. The project must be completed no later than March 31, 2026.
Place of Performance
The services will be performed at various locations across the Community College of Philadelphia's campuses.
