Background
The Westmoreland County Department of Public Works is issuing an invitation to bid for the resurfacing of county roads and parking lots. The project aims to enhance the infrastructure within Westmoreland County, specifically targeting Industrial Drive in Salem Township, Timms Lane in Cedar Creek Park, and parking lots at Mammoth Park. This initiative is part of the county's ongoing efforts to maintain and improve public roadways and facilities.

Work Details
The project includes resurfacing a total of 0.6 miles of roads and 7 parking lots, with a total area of 22,020 square yards. The materials required for this project include:
- 2641 tons of 9.5 mm asphalt
- 1057 tons of 19 mm asphalt
- 200 tons of 25 mm asphalt
- 5500 square yards of milling at a depth of 2 inches
- 600 square yards for base repair.

The work will also involve the application of bituminous tack coat, asphalt joint and crack sealing, driveway adjustments, and maintenance and protection of traffic during construction. The contractor must ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and maintain traffic flow throughout the project.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period starting from the written notice to proceed and is expected to be completed within 120 calendar days. Liquidated damages will be assessed at $100 per day if the contract is not completed on time.

The work will take place in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, specifically on Industrial Drive in Salem Township near Murrysville, Timms Lane in Cedar Creek Park area, and various parking lots including those at Mammoth Park.
