Rebid of Historic Gallatin School Living Centre Preservation Phase 2

Background
The Redevelopment Authority for the City of Uniontown is issuing this solicitation for the Historic Gallatin School Living Centre Preservation – Phase 2 project. The project aims to preserve and renovate the historic building to support the mission of City Mission Living Stones, Inc. The work will be funded through the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP), which is subject to compliance with specific guidelines and regulations.

Work Details
The contract includes comprehensive site work, paving, walks, and landscaping. Specific tasks include:
- Minor interior drywall installation, painting, and electrical work for lighting.
- All necessary work outside property lines to complete landscaping and sidewalk paving.
- Demolition and replacement of windows while ensuring no damage to neighboring properties.
- The General Contractor (G.C.) must maintain cleanliness on-site and prevent dirt from affecting adjacent properties.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award and is expected to be completed within a specified timeframe as outlined in the bid documents.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Historic Gallatin School Living Centre located in Uniontown, PA 15401.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide a bidder’s bond or certified check amounting to at least 10% of their total bid. They are required to submit a Non-Collusion Affidavit with their bids. Compliance with Pennsylvania's Prevailing Wage Act is mandatory, along with adherence to labor standards, nondiscrimination practices, and goals for minority and female participation. Contractors must also comply with various acts including the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act, Steel Products Procurement Act, Trade Practices Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, Executive Order 11246, and Section 3 of the Housing and Community Development Act.
