Rebid of Annex Parking Lot Paving Project

Background
The Huntingdon County Commissioners are seeking sealed bids for the HCC Courthouse Paving Project. The goal of this contract is to enhance the courthouse's parking lot through various construction activities, thereby improving accessibility and safety for the public. The project will be conducted in accordance with Pennsylvania state regulations and standards.

Work Details
The project consists of the following tasks: demolition, milling, paving, and line striping. Specific items to be completed include:

1. Mobilization (1 LS)
2. Maintenance & Protection of Traffic (1 LS)
3. General Conditions (1 LS)
4. Paving Base Repair (460 SY)
5. Paving Demo (485 SY)
6. 2” Milling (1,360 SY)
7. 1 ½” 9.5mm Wearing Course (205 Ton)
8. ½” 9.5mm Scratch Locations (68 Ton)
9. Line Striping (1,532 LF).

Period of Performance
The work is expected to be substantially complete within a specified number of calendar days as indicated in the Agreement following the bid acceptance.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the HCC Courthouse located at 233 Penn St, Huntingdon, PA 16652.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must submit a certified check or bank draft payable to the Huntingdon County Commissioners or a satisfactory Bid Bond equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount. A Performance and Payment Bond equal to 100% of the contract amount will be required from the successful bidder.

Compliance with Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage laws is mandatory, and all contractors and subcontractors must use e-Verify for employment eligibility verification.
