REBID of 2026 MATERIALS PROJECT

Background
The Township of Abington, located in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, is seeking sealed bids for the '2026 Materials Rebid' project. The purpose of this contract is to procure various construction materials necessary for public works projects within the township. The materials include ready mix concrete, engineered wall blocks, and storm sewer inlets and manhole structures. This initiative aligns with the township's commitment to maintaining and improving its infrastructure.

Work Details
The contract consists of three separate components:

1. **Contract I: Ready Mix Concrete** - Approximately 400 cubic yards of 3,500 lb. air-entrained concrete to be delivered to various locations within Abington Township. Bidders must provide pricing for different quantities (1-5 cubic yards and 6-10 cubic yards) plus delivery charges. Additionally, approximately 60 yards of concrete may be picked up at the vendor's plant.

2. **Contract II: Engineered Wall Block** - Bidders are required to supply various precast modular block retaining wall components including:
- (25) 41” Base Sections
- (50) 41” Riser Sections
- (25) 41” Top Sections
- (10) 41” Half Sections
- (25) 28” Base Sections
- (50) 28” Riser Sections
- (25) 28” Top Sections
- (10) 28” Half Sections
Delivery charges must also be included.

3. **Contract III: Storm Sewer Inlets and Manhole Structures** - Bidders must provide materials for storm sewer inlets and manhole structures as specified in the proposal documents.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and is expected to run for one calendar year from the date the Owner executes the contract.

Place of Performance
All materials are to be delivered to the Abington Township Public Works Facility located at 2201 Florey Lane, Roslyn, PA 19001 or other designated locations within Abington Township.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must submit a Bid Bond equal to 10% of their bid amount with their proposal. A performance bond will also be required from the successful bidder upon award of each contract. Additionally, bidders must comply with all local laws and regulations, provide proof of workers' compensation insurance, submit an experience record detailing similar projects completed in the past five years, and include a financial statement with their bid.
