Background
Radnor Township, located in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, is seeking bids for the Roof Replacement and Photovoltaic Solar Array Installation Project (Contract #B-25-006C). This project is a rebid following the rejection of previous bids. The goal of this contract is to replace roofing systems and install photovoltaic solar arrays at various township buildings to enhance energy efficiency and sustainability.

Work Details
The project involves the complete removal and replacement of existing roofing systems at two main locations: the Municipal Building (approximately 19,500 square feet) and three buildings at the Public Works Complex (approximately 39,700 square feet). Specific tasks include:

1. Municipal Building:
- Removal of existing roofing system.
- Replacement with new roofing systems including insulation, membrane roofing, flashing, lightning protection, and other associated work.
- Removal and replacement of existing mechanical units.
- Installation of a new photovoltaic array and associated equipment.

2. Public Works Complex:
- Complete removal of existing roofing systems at three buildings.
- Replacement with new roofing systems including insulation, membrane roofing, flashing, and other associated work.
- Installation of new photovoltaic arrays at the North Shed and Office Buildings, including necessary trenching.

Period of Performance

Bidders must attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting scheduled for August 28, 2025. Previous attendees of earlier pre-bid meetings are exempt from this requirement. Contractors must comply with all local regulations regarding construction activities and may need to coordinate with other contractors working on separate contracts awarded by the township.
