PW Bid 6640 PHL-1702.14 Garage C Renewal and Misc. Repairs

Background
The City of Philadelphia, through its Department of Aviation, is issuing this solicitation for the renewal and miscellaneous repairs of Garage C at the Philadelphia International Airport.

The project aims to enhance the operational efficiency and safety of the parking facility, which is critical to the airport's overall mission of providing quality service to travelers. The estimated range for this project exceeds $5,000,000.00.

Work Details
The project includes but is not limited to:
- Mobilization, permitting, and bonding
- Site protections
- Concrete repairs including partial depth topping repairs (48,000 SF), full depth concrete repairs (350 SF), and various connection repairs
- Installation and removal of bollards and guardrails
- Expansion joint repairs across multiple locations totaling over 90,000 LF
- Replacement of membrane and floor coating over 150,000 SF
- Installation of new heavy-duty traffic bearing membranes
- Structural repairs as described in Volume 2 of the plans and specifications
- Painting and plumbing work including drain replacements and new installations
- Pavement markings and installation of handicapped flex post bases.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award and is expected to be completed within a timeframe that aligns with the project specifications outlined in the bid documents.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Garage C located within the Philadelphia International Airport.
