Cheltenham Township, located in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, is seeking sealed bids for the Pickleball Courts Resurfacing Project at Wall Park. The project aims to enhance recreational facilities by converting three existing tennis courts into eight pickleball courts. This initiative aligns with the Township's mission to provide quality recreational spaces for its community.

Work Details
The project involves the reconfiguration and resurfacing of three existing tennis courts to create eight pickleball courts. Specific tasks include:

- Mobilization and site preparation
- Removal and disposal of existing tennis nets, posts, and footings
- Milling approximately 18,000 square feet of asphalt pavement to a depth of 1.5 inches
- Surface preparation including sweeping and application of tack coat
- Installation of a new 1.5-inch Superpave wearing course asphalt
- Crack repair and surface preparation prior to color coating
- Application of a color coating system suitable for pickleball courts
- Layout and striping for eight pickleball courts
- Installation of new pickleball net systems including posts and nets
- Coordination of work to maintain site safety
- Final cleanup of the work area.

Period of Performance
Substantial completion is expected by April 3, 2026, with final completion no later than May 1, 2026.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be licensed, bonded, and insured to operate in Pennsylvania. They should have at least five years of experience in similar projects and provide references from at least three clients. Compliance with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act is required.
