Ostrum Street Storm Sewer Repair

Background
The Ostrum Street Storm Sewer Reconstruction Project is issued by the Fountain Hill Stormwater Authority, located in the Borough of Fountain Hill, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. Work Details
The project consists of the following tasks:

- Removal of existing macadam paving and concrete top slab from approximately 200 feet of a 3-foot-wide concrete box culvert.
- Installation of approximately 195 linear feet of 18” HDPE storm pipe with stone backfill within the culvert walls and floor.
- Construction of 2 new junction structures.
- Capping the new pipe backfill with a reinforced concrete slab.
- Replacement of roadway macadam paving.
- Restoration of any disturbed items.

12. Mill Existing Paving, 12" Wide, 1.5" Deep (28 SY)
13. Bituminous Wearing Course, 9.5 mm, 1.5" Thick (115 SY)
14. Crosswalk Pavement Marking, W4" (54 LF)

Period of Performance
The work is anticipated to commence on or before June 10, 2026, with substantial completion expected by August 29, 2026 (75 days). Final payment readiness is expected by September 19, 2026 (97 days).

The contract will be performed in the Borough of Fountain Hill, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide a Bid Security in the amount of 10% of the total bid price in an acceptable form such as a certified check or Bid Bond. Compliance with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act is required along with adherence to Non-Discrimination and Equal Employment Opportunity regulations.

Bidders must also submit a completed Non-Collusion Affidavit and Certification of Non-Segregated Facilities.
