Background
The Nolan Drive Bridge Rehabilitation project is initiated by the Derry Township Supervisors in Mifflin County, Pennsylvania. Work Details
The contract includes the construction of a 1-span composite prestressed spread box beam bridge superstructure replacement. Specific tasks include:
- Removal of the existing bridge superstructure and associated components.
- Installation of new prestressed concrete box beams, including 36" x 17" dimensions.
- Construction of abutments and wingwalls with specified concrete types (Class AAAP and Class A cement concrete).
- Installation of elastomeric bearings and necessary reinforcements as per design specifications.
- Compliance with Pennsylvania's prevailing wage laws for all labor involved in the project.
- The contractor must provide a bid security amounting to 10% of the total bid amount.
