New Public Works Facility

Lancaster Township is seeking online sealed bids for the construction of a New Public Works Facility. The scope of work includes the following contracts:

• General Construction
• Fire Suppression/Plumbing Construction
• HVAC Construction
• Electrical Construction
• Fuel Island Construction

All work is considered Public Works by a Public Body under the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Bidders must comply with prevailing minimum wage rates as set by the Pennsylvania Secretary of Labor, which are included in the Contract Documents.

This solicitation is issued by Lancaster Township.

Bids will be received online through the PennBid Program (pennbid.bonfirehub.com) until Monday, January 26, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. local prevailing time. At that time, bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.

Contract documents are available at no cost from pennbid.bonfirehub.com. All questions regarding the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents must be submitted through PennBid's Public Q&A section; questions will not be accepted by phone, fax, or direct e-mail.

Each bid must include a Security deposit equal to 10 percent of the bid amount, subject to the conditions outlined in the Instructions to Bidders.

A Mandatory Prebid Conference will be held in the Public Meeting Room at Lancaster Township Building, 1240 Maple Avenue, Lancaster, PA 17603, on Thursday, January 8, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. Prospective bidders will have the opportunity to discuss the project with representatives of the Owner and Architect at this time.

All bids must remain irrevocable for sixty days after the bid opening date, unless the award is delayed due to required approval from another government agency, the sale of bonds, or other specified conditions.
