Mailroom Equipment

Background
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is issuing a solicitation for Mailroom Equipment and Software to support its various agencies. The goal of this contract is to provide necessary equipment and software for efficient mailroom operations, including high-volume production mailroom equipment. This contract will facilitate the purchase and leasing of essential mailroom tools, ensuring that agencies have access to modern technology for their mailing needs.

Work Details
The contract covers the purchase and lease of various mailroom equipment including, but not limited to: dedicated software for machine operation, scales, openers, inserters, folders, folder/inserters, envelope addressing systems, tabbers, extractors, trackers, bursting equipment, pressure sealers, accessories, imprinting/endorsing equipment, design services, training for personnel on equipment use and maintenance, and equipment maintenance services.

The rental of postage meters is also included. Exclusions from this contract are paper stock, envelopes, forms of any type, and any additional software not required for the operational function of the machine. Suppliers must adhere to USPS regulations regarding postage meters and ensure all equipment is in working order throughout the rental/lease periods.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon acceptance of the equipment by the agency and will continue as specified in individual purchase orders. Delivery of equipment must occur within 45 days after receipt of a purchase order unless otherwise specified.

Place of Performance
The geographic location for performance under this contract includes any point within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania where the mailroom equipment will be delivered or operated.
