Background
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is issuing a solicitation for Mailroom Equipment and Software to support its various agencies. The goal of this contract is to provide comprehensive solutions for mailroom operations, including the purchase and lease of necessary equipment and software. The contract aims to streamline mail processing and ensure compliance with USPS regulations.

Work Details
The contract covers the purchase and lease of various Mailroom Equipment, including but not limited to:
- Dedicated software for machine operation
- Scales
- Openers
- Inserters
- Folders
- Folder/inserters
- Envelope addressing systems
- Tabbers
- Extractors
- Trackers
- Bursting equipment
- Pressure sealers
- Accessories
- Imprinting/endorsing equipment
- Design services
- Training for personnel on equipment operation and maintenance

The rental of postage meters is also included. Exclusions from this contract are paper stock, envelopes, forms of any type, and any additional software not required for the operational function of the machine. The contractor must deliver equipment within 45 working days after receipt of a purchase order and provide full-service maintenance for one year after purchase.

Period of Performance
The contract will be effective upon acceptance by the agency and will continue for the duration specified in each purchase order. Lease terms can vary from 36 to 60 months with options for fair market value at the end of the term.

Place of Performance
The performance will take place within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania where the agencies are located.
