Leachate Hauling

The work of this contract involves the hauling of leachate for the Lycoming County Resource Management Services Landfill Site, as outlined in the specifications available for review. The background for this contract is to secure a qualified contractor to perform leachate hauling services in accordance with the requirements set forth by Lycoming County Resource Management Services at their landfill site. Contract requirements stipulate that all bids must be accompanied by a certified check or cashier's check drawn on a bank authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, or a bond with corporate surety, in an amount not less than 10% of the total bid. Bid prices must remain firm for 60 days following the bid opening. Certified checks guaranteeing performance will be returned to unsuccessful bidders upon the expiration of 120 days. The County reserves the right to accept or reject any part of a bid without accepting the whole, or to accept the bid deemed to be in the County's best interest.
