LCA KIWWTP 2026 Indenture Project

Background
The Lehigh County Authority is issuing a contract for the Kline’s Island Wastewater Treatment Plant 2026 Indenture Project. This project aims to address the needs of the wastewater treatment facility, which is critical for maintaining public health and environmental standards in the region.

The contract is part of the authority's ongoing efforts to improve infrastructure and service delivery in wastewater management.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary services related to the Kline’s Island Wastewater Treatment Plant 2026 Indenture Project. This includes but is not limited to:
- Construction, installation, and maintenance of wastewater treatment systems
- Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations
- Completing all work as specified in the project documents.

Bidders must demonstrate a minimum of five years of experience and have completed at least ten similar projects. A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on April 23, 2026, at the project site, and attendance is required for bid acceptance.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to commence upon award and must be completed by May 12, 2026.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Kline’s Island Wastewater Treatment Plant located at 112 Union Street, Allentown, PA 18102.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide a bid security in the form of a bid bond or certified check for ten percent of the total bid amount. Additionally, bidders must have a minimum of five years' experience in similar projects and at least ten completed projects.
