Larimer Pump Station Rehabilitation Contract Nos. 2025-03 & 2025-04

Background
The North Huntingdon Township Municipal Authority, located in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, is issuing a solicitation for the Larimer Pump Station Rehabilitation project.
The purpose of this contract is to rehabilitate the Larimer Pump Station to ensure its operational efficiency and compliance with current standards.
This project is critical for maintaining the infrastructure necessary for effective wastewater management in the area.

Work Details
The contract consists of two parts: Contract No. 2025-03 for General/Mechanical Construction and Contract No. 2025-04 for Electrical Construction.
The work includes but is not limited to:
- General/Mechanical Construction tasks such as site preparation, demolition, bypassing sewage, dewatering, shoring, and installation of new mechanical systems.
- Electrical Construction tasks including installation of electrical systems, wiring devices, raceways, and utility services.
Specific equipment to be provided includes submersible raw sewage pumps and electric motors as outlined in the technical specifications.
The contractor must also comply with environmental regulations regarding asbestos or lead-based materials during demolition.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon the issuance of a Notice to Proceed and is expected to be completed within a specified number of calendar days as detailed in the Bid Form.

Place of Performance
All work will be performed at the Larimer Pump Station site located at 11840 Railroad Street, Irwin, Westmoreland County, PA 15642.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide a certified check or bid bond equal to ten percent (10%) of their total bid amount.
Successful bidders are required to furnish a performance bond equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount.
Bidders must also comply with the Public Works Employment Verification Act by participating in the E-Verify Program and submitting verification forms for new employees hired after January 1, 2013.
