Janitorial Services For Libraries

Background
Tredyffrin Township, located in Chester County, PA, is seeking bids from pre-qualified contractors to provide janitorial services for the Tredyffrin Public Library and Paoli Library. The goal of this contract is to ensure that both libraries maintain a clean and welcoming environment for the community over a period of twenty-four months.

Work Details
The contractor will provide janitorial services at two locations: Tredyffrin Public Library (582 Upper Gulph Rd, Strafford, PA) and Paoli Library (18 Darby Road, Paoli, PA). Services include cleaning public use spaces, meeting rooms, office spaces, and restrooms at both libraries. Work will be performed during the evenings from Sunday through Saturday at Tredyffrin Public Library and on specified evenings at Paoli Library. All workmen must be compensated according to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates as determined by the Secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry.

Period of Performance
The contract will be executed for a duration of twenty-four months starting from the date of award.

Place of Performance
Janitorial services will be performed at Tredyffrin Public Library located at 582 Upper Gulph Rd, Strafford, PA and Paoli Library located at 18 Darby Road, Paoli, PA.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be pre-qualified contractors. Each bid must include a Bid Guarantee of 10% of the total bid amount in forms such as Cash, Corporate Bid Bond, Bank Check, Cashier’s Check or Treasurer’s Check. Bidders must also provide written details about their insurance carrier(s) and bonding company. The contractor must comply with all local regulations and possess necessary permits to operate within Tredyffrin Township.
