Background
The Glenwood Avenue Pickleball Court project is initiated by Clifton Heights Borough, located in Delaware County, Pennsylvania. The purpose of this contract is to construct a new outdoor pickleball court facility along with necessary site improvements to enhance recreational opportunities for the community.

Work Details
The project entails the construction of a fenced-in pickleball court featuring an asphalt playing surface and an acrylic color coating system. The work includes:
- Installation of net systems and game striping for the pickleball court.
- Construction of an asphalt parking lot with ADA-compliant parking spaces.
- Installation of concrete sidewalks and ADA curb ramps to ensure accessible connectivity between the parking area and the court.
- Site grading, drainage, and landscaping enhancements.
- Installation of chain-link perimeter fencing with access gates.
- Provision of site signage and pavement markings.
- Additional features include benches with concrete pads, lighting (if included), and all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals required for completion.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to be completed within 60 calendar days following receipt of the Owner’s Notice to Proceed.

The work will be performed at Glenwood Avenue in Clifton Heights Borough, Delaware County, Pennsylvania.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must submit a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 10% of the total bid amount. The successful bidder will be required to provide a performance bond and maintenance bond for 100% of the contract price. Compliance with Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates is mandatory for bids equal to or greater than $25,000. Bidders must also adhere to various insurance requirements as outlined in the Bid Package.
