Background
The Jackson Municipal Authority is seeking bids for the construction of the Franklin Road Area Water Main project. This project involves the installation of water mains using horizontal directional drilling (HDD) to enhance the water infrastructure in Jackson Township, Butler County, Pennsylvania.

Work Details
The project includes:
- Installation of a 12-inch HDPE water main at up to three culverted stream crossings along Pattison Street Extension using HDD.
- Installation of an 8-inch HDPE water main at three locations along Franklin Road (SR 3021) also using HDD.
- Total HDD installation length along Pattison Street Extension is approximately 300 linear feet.
- Total HDD installation length along Franklin Road is approximately 1,400 linear feet.
- The estimated total bid price for the project is approximately $220,000 (base bid and alternate).

Bidder Requirements
