Background
The First Responder’s Park Pavilion Project is initiated by Hanover Township, Northampton County, Pennsylvania. The project aims to construct a pavilion that will serve as a community facility, enhancing the park's utility for public events and activities. The project is funded through grants from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the Commonwealth Financing Authority, emphasizing the importance of public infrastructure development in the area.

The project involves the construction of a Pavilion that includes restrooms and a concession stand. Specific tasks include: site work, sanitary and water utility installation, electrical and plumbing facilities.

Additional contingency items may include Extra Excavation, Extra Rock Excavation, Extra Class B Concrete, and Extra Crushed Aggregate Backfill.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to be completed within a specified number of calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The exact timeline will be detailed in the Bid Form and Agreement.

Place of Performance
All work will be performed at First Responder’s Park located in Hanover Township, Northampton County, Pennsylvania.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide a Bid Security amounting to 10% of the total Base Bid. They are required to submit a Non-Collusion Affidavit, Statement of Bidder's Qualifications, Certification of Non-Segregated Facilities, and comply with Non-Discrimination/Sexual Harassment Clauses for both Grants C000089361 and C000091552. Bidders must also adhere to Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act conditions and Public Works Employment Verification Act requirements.
