The Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency (PEMA) is seeking a price quote for modifications to a 2013 Ford F-350 Truck.
The agency's mission involves ensuring effective emergency management and preparedness in Pennsylvania. This contract aims to enhance the operational capabilities of their vehicle fleet.
Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following modifications to the F-350 Truck:
1. Removal of SPARTAN Service van body.
2. Installation of a new 8’ pickup truck bed, which must be white in color to match the cab and connect fuel filler, lights, and other necessary items for operation.
3. Installation of a new fiberglass truck cap that must also be white, include windows on both sides and rear, and have gas shocks to hold the lid open.
4. Installation of new LED lights mounted inside the cap with an On/Off switch located inside the cap edge.
5. Installation of new LED work lights at each corner of the cap, shining back and slightly downward, with an On/Off switch inside the cab near the driver’s area.
6. Reinstallation of the existing trailer hitch along with a 7-pin trailer wiring socket.
7. Installation of a new full-length pull-out cargo tray rated at 1500LB that slides out the entire length of the truck bed.
8. Installation of a new backup camera aimed for facilitating backing and connecting trailers, with a 7” screen mounted where the driver can see it in the cab; removal of old backup camera required.
9. Installation of new heavy-duty floor mats (e.g., WeatherTech or equivalent). All bidders must provide brand names for equipment being installed.
Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award and is expected to be completed within a timeframe specified in subsequent communications following bid acceptance.
Place of Performance
The modifications will take place within a 50-mile radius of PEMA's location in Pennsylvania if PEMA delivers the vehicle.
Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be within a 50-mile radius of PEMA if they are to receive delivery of the vehicle for modification purposes. Additionally, all bids must include completed attached documents uploaded electronically; paper bids will not be accepted.
