Electric Vehicle Charging Station Installation PA Lumber Museum, Potter County, PA

Background
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Department of Conservation and Natural Resources is issuing a contract for the installation of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations at the PA Lumber Museum located in Potter County, Pennsylvania. The goal of this contract is to enhance the infrastructure for electric vehicles within the state park, aligning with broader environmental and sustainability initiatives.

Work Details
The work under this project includes:

1) Providing and installing two (2) EV charging stations;

2) New feeder circuits from the existing Main Distribution Panel;

3) Trenching, backfilling, and underground conduit systems for feeder circuits;

4) Installation of all related equipment including meters, panel branch circuit breakers, boxes, connectors, conduit, and wiring;

5) Concrete footer foundations for EV charging station pedestals;

6) Creation of two (2) new EV parking spaces with a center access aisle;

7) Installation of two (2) removable bollards for the access aisle;

8) Finish grading and line painting for parking spaces;

9) Start-up, commissioning, and training on the use of the charging stations.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon receipt of the necessary permits and is expected to be completed within a specified timeframe as outlined in the contract documents.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the PA Lumber Museum located at 5660 US Route 6 West, Ulysses Township, Potter County, Pennsylvania.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with specific requirements including: no more than forty-nine percent (49%) of the work may be subcontracted without written approval from the Department. The contractor must possess a valid Uniform Construction Code (UCC) Building Permit issued by the PA Department of Labor & Industry prior to commencing work.
