Community and Concessions Building Contract No. 25.62 Project

Background
Jackson Township is seeking bids for the construction of a Community and Concessions Building under Contract No. 25.62. The project aims to enhance community facilities by providing a new concession area, restrooms, community room, and associated site improvements.
The goal is to create a functional space that meets the needs of the local population while adhering to ADA compliance and local building codes.

Work Details
The project consists of multiple contracts:
- **Contract 25.62A (General Construction)**: Includes construction of a concession area with covered seating, ADA-compliant restrooms, a community room, offices, and mechanical/janitor room. Sitework includes clearing, erosion and sediment controls, grading, sidewalks, curb ramps, and utility connections for water, gas, sanitary, and stormwater piping.
- **Contract 25.62B (HVAC Construction)**: Installation of a forced air heating system with exhausts for toilet rooms and kitchen hoods including all necessary controls and ductwork.
- **Contract 25.62C (Plumbing Construction)**: Installation of water and gas distribution systems along with plumbing fixtures such as sinks and toilets.
- **Contract 25.62D (Electrical Construction)**: Installation of new electric service, lighting systems both interior and exterior, power systems including conduit for security systems.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to commence upon award and will be completed by June 1, 2026.

The construction will take place in Jackson Township, Butler County, Pennsylvania.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with all state anti-bid rigging regulations and submit a non-collusion affidavit. They are required to utilize the Federal E-Verify system for employment verification on public works projects.
The estimated cost for each contract exceeds $25,000; therefore, the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act applies.
