Background
The City of Easton, Pennsylvania, is seeking bids for the College Hill Fire Station Roof Replacement Project. The project aims to replace the existing roof system at the fire station building, ensuring a durable and watertight installation that complies with relevant codes and standards. Work Details
The scope of work includes:

1. Removal and disposal of existing roofing materials, flashings, coping, gutters, downspouts, and related components.

2. Installation of a complete new roofing system including vapor barrier, insulation, tapered insulation as required, EPDM membrane roofing, metal roof panels where applicable, new coping, roof edge metals, gutters, downspouts, roof drains, scuppers, flashings, and all necessary accessories for a watertight installation.

3. The contractor must field verify existing conditions and coordinate all work with the City of Easton.

4. The contractor is responsible for determining means and methods for installation and must report any unforeseen conditions to the City for resolution.

Period of Performance
The project must be fully completed within 60 calendar days from the issuance date of the Notice to Proceed.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the College Hill Fire Station located at 327 Parsons St., Easton, PA 18042.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must submit a Bid-Bond or acceptable form of surety amounting to ten percent (10%) of the bid value. They are required to provide a statement of qualifications detailing their experience in similar projects. Additionally, bidders must comply with state prevailing wage laws and obtain a City of Easton business license prior to receiving the Notice to Proceed.
