The Philadelphia Prisons is seeking to implement a cashless payment system through the installation of new hardware for credit card transactions. Work Details
The contract involves the provision of the Hoback Lite kiosk model (Model Number: RR-HOBACK-LITE) which includes:
- High-grade steel construction with powder coat finish in white and charcoal (other colors available upon request).
- A 21.5" portrait display with a native resolution of 1920 x 1080.
- Power requirements of 120V - 15 Amp circuit.
- Weight range from 45.5 to 86.4 lbs.
- Warranty coverage for one year.
Included components:
- 21.5” Display, Windows OS Computer (4GB RAM, 250GB SSD).
Available components:
- Receipt Printer, 2D Scanner, ADA Navigation Device, Credit Card Reader, Webcam, RFID Reader.
Software offerings include Kiosk Management Software and Application Software. Use cases include QSR (Quick Service Restaurants), ticketing, information kiosks, self-ordering, self-pay, bill pay, and transactional services.
Period of Performance
The project is expected to be completed within 14 weeks following the signed submittal drawings and receipt of deposit.

The installation will take place at various locations within the Philadelphia Jail System.
