As Required Sale of Gen-2 Hybrid Batteries 9-2025

Background
The Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) is issuing Sealed Bid No. 25-00248-AMUD for the As Required Sale of Gen-2 Hybrid Batteries. This contract aims to facilitate the procurement of hybrid batteries necessary for SEPTA's operations, ensuring they have the required materials available as needed.

Work Details
The contract will be an 'As Required' agreement, utilized on an 'as needed' basis over a six-month period. SEPTA will notify the awarded contractor each time a set of no less than 12 skids of Gen-2 Hybrid Batteries becomes available for pick-up. Payment in full is required for each set prior to authorization for pick-up. The expected start date for this contract is November 2025.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a six-month period starting in November 2025.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority's designated locations, with pick-up occurring at their facility located at 1234 Market Street, 11th Floor, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19107.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must submit their bids in a sealed envelope with their company name and address, SEPTA bid number, and bid title clearly identified on the exterior. Bids must be submitted by hand delivery or mail to SEPTA's Procurement & Supply Chain Management Department. All hand-carried bids must bear a SEPTA time stamp indicating receipt before the bid opening time. Bidders are also required to comply with Equal Employment Opportunity laws and certify compliance with Executive Order 12549 regarding ineligible contractors.
