AMS Lab Gases

Background
The City of Philadelphia is seeking to acquire AMS Lab Gases for its AMS Laboratory. This initiative is part of the city's commitment to providing equal opportunities for all businesses, including Minority, Woman, and Disabled Owned Business Enterprises (M/W/DSBEs), as outlined in Executive Order No. 01-21. The contract aims to ensure that city funds are utilized equitably and without discrimination.

Work Details
The successful seller will be required to supply various gases as specified in Section 2 and the PHL Pricing Spreadsheet attached to this Invitation and Bid. Key specifications include:

1. **Pricing Instructions:** Sellers must submit unit prices for each item listed in the Pricing Spreadsheet, with prices firm for the Initial Term of the Contract.

2. **Purity Requirements:** All gases must meet strict purity standards with no deviations permitted.

3. **Delivery and Pickup:** The seller has five calendar days to pick up cylinders after notification from the using department, with no demurrage charges applicable after this period.

4. **Payment Terms:** Payments will be made monthly upon receipt of purchase orders and invoices from the City.

5. **Delivery Location:** Primary delivery location is AMS Laboratory, 1501 E. Lycoming St., Philadelphia, PA 19124.

Period of Performance
The contract term is from December 1, 2024, to November 30, 2025, with options for renewal for up to four additional one-year periods at the City's discretion.

Place of Performance
The primary place of performance will be at the AMS Laboratory located at 1501 E. Lycoming St., Philadelphia, PA 19124.
