Background
The County of Delaware, Pennsylvania is seeking bids for accessibility upgrades to the restrooms at the Government Center. This initiative aims to enhance compliance with accessibility standards and improve facilities for all users. Work Details
The scope of work includes:
- Demolition of existing restroom fixtures and finishes as per the demolition plans.
- Installation of new plumbing fixtures including floor-mounted toilets with flush valves, urinals, lavatories, and associated accessories such as grab bars, soap dispensers, and paper towel dispensers.
- Construction of new partitions for toilet stalls.
- Installation of new finishes including ceramic tiles on walls and floors.
- Upgrades to mechanical systems including ventilation and lighting fixtures.
- Compliance with ADA standards for mounting heights and clearances in restroom layouts.
