Background
The Pennsylvania Game Commission (PGC) is soliciting electronic bids for the maintenance of a section of Loading Ramp Road on State Game Lands (SGL) #135. The PGC's mission is to manage and protect wildlife resources and their habitats. This contract aims to improve the infrastructure on state game lands to facilitate public access and enhance wildlife management efforts.

Work Details
The project scope includes:
- Making drainage improvements
- Road surface preparation
- Roadway construction using AASHTO #3 Stone and #2A Coarse Aggregate.
- Installation of corrugated plastic drainage pipes with precast concrete headwalls.
- Grading the road base and constructing the road with a layer of base stone and a surface layer of fine stone.
- The total length of the road to be maintained is 19,072 feet (3.61 miles).
- The work area is located in Clifton & Thornhurst Townships, Lackawanna County, approximately 5 miles northeast of Thornhurst.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon delivery of the Purchase Order to the Contractor, estimated to be July 1, 2025, and will terminate on October 3, 2025.

Place of Performance
State Game Lands (SGL) #135 located in southern Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with Pennsylvania's Unemployment Compensation Law, Workers’ Compensation Law, and all applicable state labor laws. Additionally, bidders are required to have a Vendor Number assigned by the Commonwealth to receive payment. No bid guarantee or bond is required for this project.
