Background
Capital Region Water is undertaking the 2026 Water System Improvements Project to enhance water infrastructure in the City of Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. The goal of this contract is to replace and install various components of the water system to ensure reliable service and compliance with safety standards.

Work Details
The contract includes the following work:
- Water main replacement and installation;
- Water service line replacement;
- Fire hydrant replacement;
- Surface restoration;
- All other related work as specified in the Contract Documents.

The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary materials, equipment, labor, and miscellaneous items required to complete the project as outlined in the bidding documents.

Additionally, all bidders are required to submit a bid security of 10% of the total bid price and a Performance and Payment Bond for 100% of the estimated contract price upon award.
