2026 Road Construction Project

Background
The 2026 Road Construction Project is issued by Clinton Township of Butler County, aimed at improving local road infrastructure through the milling and resurfacing of asphalt.

4. Placement of Asphalt Wearing Course (9.5mm, SRL-G): 1,464 tons in place.
5. Placement of Aggregate Shoulder: 702 tons in place.
6. Application of Asphalt Prime Coat: 1,756 gallons in place.
All work must comply with current PennDOT specifications and include necessary certifications such as the CS-4171 Certificate of Compliance.

Period of Performance
The work is expected to be completed on or before August 14, 2026, with liquidated damages applied at a rate of $885 per calendar day for delays beyond this date.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must submit proposals electronically via PennBid and include a certified check or bid bond amounting to 10% of the bid as a proposal guarantee.
The successful bidder must provide a performance bond equal to 100% of the contract value within 20 days after contract award and comply with all requirements related to public works employment verification.
