Universal Kitchen and Restaurant Equipment

Background
The State of Oregon, through the Department of Administrative Services (DAS) and State Procurement Services, is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) to establish one or more Statewide Price Agreements for universal kitchen and restaurant equipment and related services.

This initiative aims to replace existing agreements that support government entities in providing meals and acquiring necessary food service equipment. The goal is to facilitate a streamlined procurement process for Authorized Purchasers, which includes state agencies and members of cooperative purchasing programs.

Work Details
The contract will encompass the provision of universal kitchen and restaurant equipment, including but not limited to: commercial-grade cooking appliances, refrigeration units, food preparation tools, serving implements, dishware, and related services such as installation and maintenance.

Proposers are encouraged to offer a comprehensive catalog of products that meet specified standards for safety and sanitation. Additionally, proposals should include options for bulk purchases that may yield economic advantages to Authorized Purchasers.

Period of Performance
The initial term of any resulting Price Agreement is anticipated to be two years, with options for renewal up to a cumulative maximum of ten years. The effective date will commence upon the execution of the agreement.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed within the State of Oregon, with delivery locations determined by the needs of Authorized Purchasers across various regions.

Bidder Requirements
Proposers must be registered in OregonBuys to do business with the State. They are required to submit various documentation including a Disclosure Exemption Affidavit, Proposer Information and Certification Sheet, Reference Check Form, Price Proposal Form, Certified Disadvantaged Business Outreach Plan, Responsibility Inquiry Form, and additional technical narratives as specified in the RFP.

Compliance with Oregon tax laws is mandatory.
