Background
The Douglas County Parks Department is issuing a Request for Bids (RFB #219) for the Umpqua Dunes RV Park South Loop-Phase III project.
The project aims to enhance recreational facilities in Winchester Bay, Oregon, by constructing additional RV sites and amenities to support the county's mission of providing quality parks and recreational opportunities.

Work Details
The project involves the construction of 27 full hookup RV sites and the installation of one prefabricated restroom building.
Specific tasks include:
- Installation and maintenance of temporary erosion control measures.
- Obtaining necessary building permits.
- Performing earthwork and preparing building pads.
- Installing sanitary sewer, storm sewer, potable water, and electrical systems.
- Providing utility connections for a new precast concrete restroom.
- Coordinating placement of the precast concrete restroom and completing interior utility connections.
- Installing asphalt pavement and Portland cement concrete surfaces, including striping.
- Compliance with Oregon Standard Specifications for Construction (2024) and Douglas County’s General Conditions for Construction Contracts.

Period of Performance
The work is scheduled to begin no later than November 30th, 2024, with a completion deadline of June 30th, 2025.
Continuous work must be maintained once commenced to meet this deadline.

The contract will be performed at Umpqua Dunes RV Park located in Winchester Bay, Oregon.
