Description
Background
High Desert Education Service District (HDESD) is seeking to continue its partnership with Full Nest Consulting for Speech Language Pathology (SLP) services to support the Early Intervention/Early Childhood Special Education (EI/ECSE) program.
Due to a statewide and regional shortage of qualified Speech Language Pathologists, HDESD has implemented various recruitment and retention strategies to address staffing needs for these critical positions.
The goal of this contract is to ensure that the EI/ECSE program can provide uninterrupted, high-quality services to students and families.
Work Details
Full Nest Consulting will provide part-time specialized Speech Language Pathology services on an as-needed basis.
The contractor must meet specific qualifications and experience requirements necessary to effectively serve the EI/ECSE student population.
Jessica from Full Nest Consulting holds an Oregon Department of Education (ODE) Authorization, allowing her to fulfill the role of an EI/ECSE Specialist and/or Speech Language Pathologist (SLP). This provides flexibility in supporting student needs in challenging recruitment areas such as Madras and Warm Springs.
Period of Performance
The contract will be ongoing as needed, contingent upon the availability of funding and the continued need for SLP services within the EI/ECSE program.
Place of Performance
The services will primarily be performed in Madras and Warm Springs, Oregon, where there are significant challenges in recruiting qualified Speech Language Pathologists.
Bidder Requirements
Full Nest Consulting must demonstrate qualifications that meet HDESD's program requirements.
The contractor must have personnel with appropriate licenses and authorizations, specifically an Oregon Department of Education Authorization for SLP services.
