Special Procurement Request for IT Managed Service Provider Amendment

Background
The contract is established between the State of Connecticut, represented by its Department of Administrative Services (DAS), and Covendis, an IT vendor managed service provider. The purpose of this contract is to provide IT Vendor Managed Services under the NASPO ValuePoint cooperative contract program, which aims to facilitate procurement for state departments and eligible entities.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide various IT managed services as specified in Exhibit 2 (Deliverables Document) and Exhibit 3 (Product & Pricing Schedule). These services include but are not limited to:

1. Deliverables and services as outlined in the Product & Pricing Schedule.
2. Maintenance and support for licensed software at no additional cost.
3. Updates and upgrades to the licensed software.
4. User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure deliverables meet specifications.
5. Project personnel designated by the Purchasing Entity with the right to approve key contractor personnel.
6. Compliance with change orders requested by the Purchasing Entity.

Period of Performance
The contract is effective upon approval by the Office of the Attorney General of Connecticut and will last for three years from that date, with potential extensions not exceeding one year in total.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed primarily within the State of Connecticut, although provisions may allow for participation from other states under the NASPO ValuePoint program.

Bidder Requirements
The Contractor must maintain commercial general liability insurance coverage of at least $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate. The Lead State must be named as an additional insured on these policies. Additionally, the Contractor must comply with any federal requirements if federal funds are involved in any purchase orders.
