Background
The Oregon Business Development Department (OBDD), specifically the Economic Strategies and Research Team, is seeking to renew its subscription to Wiser LLC’s WISERTrade Direct Redistributing Subscriber Database.

This online database utilizes US Census reported export data, stratifying it by various metrics such as state, country, port, industry (down to the four-digit NAICS level), and globally recognized Harmonized System (HS) codes (down to the six-digit level).

The database has been in use since 2008 and is essential for the agency's ability to analyze trade data, identify market trends, and conduct outreach effectively. The agency has spent a total of $72,000 on this database to date and aims to continue utilizing it due to its unique capabilities that align with their operational needs.

Work Details
The contract involves the annual subscription of the WISERTrade Direct Redistributing Subscriber Database.

This database provides real-time export data that helps OBDD staff discern trends for both internal and external customers. It also includes imputed import data for comprehensive analysis.

The contract value is estimated at $125,000 and will not exceed $150,000 over its term. The renewal period can extend up to seven years until March 31, 2032. WISERTrade is identified as the only product capable of meeting the agency's specific needs without disrupting established workflows.

The contract will be performed annually with a potential renewal extending up to seven years through March 31, 2032.
