Sluice Gate and Controls Replacement

Background
Northern Wasco County People's Utility District (the District) is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit qualified organizations for the replacement of two sluice gate motors and controls located in The Dalles, Oregon.

The goal of the contract is to ensure the functionality and reliability of the sluice gate system by installing new motors and controls while maintaining operational capability throughout the installation process.

Work Details
The work involves furnishing and installing two replacement motors and controls that are compatible with the existing sluice gate system.

The installation must be performed one motor at a time to ensure that at least one motor remains operational during the project. Additionally, startup and commissioning of each unit will be required upon installation completion.

Proposals must include:
1. A copy of the Contractor’s cost and specifications for the proposed units.
2. Confirmation of design compatibility with existing systems as specified in Exhibit A.
3. Agreement to terms outlined in Exhibit B without modification.
4. A summary of relevant experience from the last two years.
5. A list of previous clients for reference purposes.
6. Contact information for coordination with the District.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to be executed by February 6, 2025, following proposal evaluations, with work commencing thereafter as per the agreed schedule.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed in or near The Dalles, Dufur, and Tygh Valley within Wasco County, Oregon.
