Sister Community Park Project

Background
The Sisters Park & Recreation District (SPRD) is issuing a solicitation for the construction of the Sisters Community Park. This project aims to renovate the Sisters elementary school playing fields into a new community park, aligning with SPRD's mission to enhance recreational opportunities in the area.

Work Details
The project involves comprehensive park construction activities including grading, concrete and asphalt paths, topsoil placement, seeding, landscaping, irrigation systems, pickleball courts, basketball courts, a play area, restroom facilities, a pavilion, and site furnishings.

Specific tasks include:
1) Earthwork/Rough Grading of 55,449 SF;
2) Installation of 3" Hot Mix Asphalt Surfaces (13,163 SF);
3) Construction of 4" Pedestrian Concrete Surfaces (4,470 SF);
4) Installation of rubber mulch surfacing for play areas (3,274 SF);
5) Planting of 36 trees (2" caliper);
6) Installation of irrigation systems;
7) Construction of entry fences (196 LF).

Additional features include pickleball courts with associated fencing and nets, basketball hoops installation, and various utility installations such as storm pipes and water lines.

Period of Performance
The construction is expected to commence upon issuance of a Notice to Proceed and must be substantially completed within 120 days thereafter. Final completion is required within an additional 30 days after substantial completion.

The work will be performed at the Sisters Community Park located at 611 E. Cascade Ave., Sisters, OR 97759.
