Sewer and Storm Pipe Replacement

Scope of Work:
The contract involves providing all necessary labor, equipment, and materials to complete the following tasks:

• Pipe bursting approximately 340 linear feet of existing 10-inch concrete sewer/storm combination line and replacing it with 10-inch HDPE pipe (Schedule A).
• Pipe bursting approximately 1,466 linear feet of existing 8-inch concrete sewer line and replacing it with 8-inch HDPE pipe (Schedules B, C, D, and E).
• Open cutting approximately 200 linear feet of 8-inch ductile iron storm pipe, and pipe bursting approximately 300 linear feet of existing 8-inch concrete storm pipe, replacing both with 8-inch HDPE pipe (Schedule F).
• Video inspection, locating, and reconnecting, replacing, or rerouting sewer service and storm drain laterals by open cut or pipe bursting.
• Removal and construction of sewer and/or storm manholes, cleanouts, and catch basins.
• Removal and replacement of sidewalks, driveways, asphalt paving, and curbs.
• Construction of required appurtenances and any other work as shown on the project plans.

Background:
The project aims to replace aging sewer and stormwater infrastructure by utilizing pipe bursting and open cut methods, ensuring improved reliability and compliance with current standards.

Contract Requirements:
The engineering estimate for the work is as follows:

• Schedule A, B, C, and D: $580,000
• Schedule E: $175,000
• Schedule F: $215,000

The Prime Contractor must provide documentation verifying that they are a licensed installer of the manufacturer's pipe bursting system.

Submission Instructions:
Interested contractors must submit all required documentation, including proof of licensed installer status for the pipe bursting system manufacturer, as part of their bid.
