RFQ - Pre-Level and 2 Inch Asphalt Overlay

Background
The Linn County Road Department is seeking price quotations for the construction of a 2-inch asphalt concrete overlay and associated pre-level work on Bond Road, located in the Scio Maintenance District. This project aims to improve ride quality and address surface defects. The contract will be awarded based on accepted quotations, leading to a Purchase Order for execution of the work.

Work Details
The contract involves the following key tasks:
1. **Traffic Control**: Provide necessary traffic control as per the Oregon Temporary Traffic Control Handbook, ensuring traffic delays do not exceed 20 minutes.
2. **Temporary Pavement Markings**: Install temporary reflective tape on the centerline of the finished wearing course.
3. **Asphalt Concrete Construction**: Supply materials and perform paving for a 2-inch overlay with pre-level work, including tapering joints to feather from 2 inches to zero over a distance of fifty feet.
4. **Driveways**: Construct four asphalt concrete driveway aprons where they connect with the overlay, paving to the edge of right-of-way boundary as directed by County representatives.
5. **Scope Changes**: The County may adjust the scope of work without altering quoted prices per pay item.
6. **Coordination**: Coordinate with Linn County forces for public safety and convenience during construction.

Period of Performance
All work must be completed by June 30th, 2025, with operations scheduled between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed on Bond Road in the Scio Maintenance District, Linn County, Oregon.
