The City of Salem, Oregon, is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide ongoing maintenance services for its security systems. Work Details
The contract will cover maintenance services for the following components:
1. **Lenel Integrated Electronic Card Reader Access System**:
- Maintenance and annual software support for the Lenel OnGuard system.
- Services include testing access control doors, alarm inputs, verifying lock functionality, visual inspections of equipment, minor repairs, and assistance with software programming.
2. **Integrated Video Camera Surveillance System**:
- Maintenance for 609 cameras, 433 readers, 50 Lenel Access Panels, 19 LNVR/HVR/DVRs/Milestone Servers, 133 panic buttons, and 5 Bosch Alarm Systems.
- Services include visual inspections of cameras and wiring, reviewing camera quality (live and recorded), troubleshooting hardware issues, and providing programming assistance as needed.
3. **General Maintenance Conditions**:
- All materials used must be first-quality and free from defects. The contractor is responsible for maintaining work areas in an orderly manner and ensuring all work meets the standards set by the City’s Contract Administrator.
Period of Performance
The contract will commence on July 1, 2026, and continue until June 30, 2027. It may be renewed for four additional one-year periods based on satisfactory performance and budget approval.
Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations within the City of Salem as required by the IT department.

Proposers must demonstrate that they have been engaged in the design, installation, and maintenance of Integrated Video Camera Surveillance Systems for at least five years in Oregon. They must also be factory authorized LENEL Systems integrators with current factory-trained status for a minimum of five years.
